CAD stands for Computer-Aided Design and refers to the computer-aided design and development of components, products, machines, and systems. For our design work, we use modern 3D CAD workstations as well as software such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Unigraphics. This enables us to ensure seamless integration with your existing systems and workstations. MKW is committed to transparent processes, flexible collaboration, and efficient implementation.

A value stream analysis makes material and information flows within a company visible. Based on the insights gained, weaknesses, unnecessary processes, and waste in the value stream can be identified and specifically addressed. The structured representation of these relationships also helps simplify information flows and provide a stronger foundation for operational communication.
FEM calculations can be used to realistically simulate load conditions in order to specifically optimize the stability and material usage of components.
It becomes immediately clear whether a single component or an entire assembly is suitable for its intended use. If adjustments are necessary, our design engineers determine how the component can be redesigned cost-effectively. The benefit to you: Changes are made at a stage when costs are still low. Even complex motion sequences can be visualized as virtual simulations on a computer.

MKW prepares documentation and risk assessments for machinery in accordance with the Machinery Directive and the current DIN EN ISO 12100 standard. In doing so, we take care to document even complex machinery in a way that is understandable, clear, and efficient. All relevant information is presented clearly and tailored to your needs, so that you can maintain an overview of your system at all times.
The technical documentation helps you commission your machine as intended, use it safely, and maintain it properly. Maintenance information is also clearly documented.
As part of the risk assessment, we examine potential hazards that may emanate from the machine or arise within its boundaries.

To ensure that collisions, interference, and potential conflicts are identified early on, individual movements or entire sequences can be simulated virtually in advance. This approach offers clear advantages, particularly for complex motion profiles or very short cycle times.
Virtual simulations make it possible to quickly visualize different versions and alternatives of a product without having to build a prototype first. This results in a solution that is optimally prepared for later practical use.
We also use the data generated to define load parameters for the finite element method, or FEM for short.
