The system is designed for the semi-automatic bonding of plastic or aluminum frames to insulating glass units.
Sufficient operating personnel must be provided to operate the system.

Implementation and Solution
The system consists of several interconnected components, which are as follows:
1. Chain conveyor
2. Glass cross-conveyor, including tilting table
3. Gluing station
4. Door assembly, including door pre-assembly and prefabricated parts conveyor
The glass racks delivered by the glass supplier are placed on the chain conveyor and buffered (max. 4 pieces). An operator removes the glass panes using a vacuum gripper provided by Remis and places them on the glass cross-conveyor. Here, the glass panes are inspected for scratches at an illuminated inspection station. Non-conforming (NIO) parts are manually transferred to a separately positioned glass rack. GO parts are fed further along the glass conveyor and buffered until they reach the tilting table, where they are swiveled into a horizontal position and transported to the door pre-assembly station.
At the same time that the glass cross-conveyor is being loaded, the gluing station is loaded with frame parts cut to size. The parts are placed into the designated slots and automatically coated with a bead of adhesive by a gantry.
The operator at the door pre-assembly station swivels the glass pane into a 60° working position, cleans the glass panes, and places the frame parts—which are retrieved from the gluing station—onto the pane. The glass pane then swings back and moves forward to the door assembly station, where the frame parts are pressed evenly onto the pane. On the subsequent finished-product conveyor, the doors are inspected and the hinges are installed before the doors are manually packaged at the end of the conveyor.
The plant operator is responsible for ensuring that operating instructions are prepared in accordance with legal requirements (e.g., the Hazardous Substances Ordinance) and that the corresponding training is conducted.
Operating personnel must confirm with their signature that they have read and understood the instructions.
Normal operation is automatic mode. Other operating modes may only be used briefly to configure or restore automatic mode.
